Why LLM Primer Exists

LLM learning material often jumps between friendly metaphors and dense papers. LLM Primer connects those layers. Articles are written in tiers: intuition first, engineering trade-offs next, and research details when they are useful.

The project treats papers as traceable evidence. Important claims should point to published paper entries, while unreviewed candidates stay in the inbox until someone adopts and summarizes them.

Community contributions are welcome: new articles, English translations, interactive demos, paper TLDRs, and corrections. The goal is not to chase every headline, but to maintain a durable learning map for LLM fundamentals.

LLM Primer treats durable content as a balance of intuition, practice, and evidence:

value=intuition+practice+evidence\text{value} = \text{intuition} + \text{practice} + \text{evidence}

Interactive: Should this material be included?

When reading an external source, check whether it meets LLM Primer's curation standard.

Suggested interpretation

If all three are true, it is a strong article candidate; if only one is true, keep it in the paper inbox or a discussion first.
